This notice explains how Matedy ("we", "us") uses personal information when you ask for a quote, book a move, clearance, waste removal or clean, contact us or use this website.
Who we are
Matedy is the trading name of MATEDY LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17112828), registered office 66 Hillmead, Norwich, England, NR3 3PF. We are the controller of your information. Contact: enaches94@myyahoo.com, 07741 424217.
What we collect
- What you send through the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the type of job, where from and where to (towns or postcodes), when, and your message.
- What you send by phone, WhatsApp or email, including photos of the items or rooms and the pickup and delivery addresses.
- The addresses, access details (such as parking or key arrangements) and the list of items, when you book a job.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To reply to you, give you a quote and carry out the job: steps you asked for before a contract, and the contract itself (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the records tax, company and waste law require, such as waste transfer notes: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep this website secure and working: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
We don't use your details for marketing and we don't sell them.
Who helps us
These providers handle information for us, only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- Resend, which delivers the form to our email inbox.
- Afaceri Diaspora Ltd, which built and maintains this website and keeps a copy of form messages so none are lost.
- WhatsApp (Meta) and our email provider, when you contact us that way.
- Google, only if you choose to load the map.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Records of jobs, payments and waste transfers are kept for as long as tax and waste law require (usually six years for payments and at least two years for waste transfer notes). Access details are deleted once the job is finished.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. Email enaches94@myyahoo.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website uses no advertising and no visit statistics. The Google map loads only if you allow it; when it does, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address. See the cookie notice.
